Their 10 fans should fit nicely on that deck above the 1st base dugout.
Good for them and I’ve got no problem with them helping solidify Mississippi as the college baseball capital of the world.
I would actually go watch some baseball at that venue.
The entrance area behind first base seems like a really premium area to put a big, flat, SRO space.

After looking at the renders on a big screen..
1) The batters eye in center field is comically small will not end up in that configuration.
2) USM is about to build the 2nd nicest ballpark in MS.

Musk is gonna have to build a few more data centers because AI is working overtime to make those stadium renderings seem full
Except you won't be able to get a ticket when we're playing, they always hold out on us.
Hopefully they can skim another government welfare program to fund building it.

I am happy for them, but somewhat skeptical that they can afford it. They are currently doing a basketball facility improvement and I have to imagine funds are tight.
It looks pretty good, but the official announcement says it "marks the beginning of a fundraising effort to help bring the proposed improvements". I doubt the actual renovations will live up to these renderings. Just look their basketball arena. It's fallen well short of the renderings they initially released years ago when they started talking about renovations to it.
You know who has shockingly decent facilities for a Sunbelt team? ULL. No clue how they pay for it because it ain’t coming from ticket sales.
Because they are operating at a huge deficit.
I agree with this. Times are just tough in the college world. All available money needs to go to NIL and coaching salaries to get players and coaches. I would doubt that the "Master Plan" that MSU released a few years ago for facilities has much life either.

P.S. - although the Hump renovations aren't bad but they don't match what the initial renderings showed.
Good for them and their fans. Have been to several games there over the last several years, they have a loyal and passionate fanbase.
They just know that USM and OM are desperately trying to steal State's thunder and especially State's baseball "atmosphere." State put it all on the map. Wanting to be a "baseball state" is something their fans couldn't care less about and some typical "gosh darnit we can share it" State fan defeatist mindset trash.
