If you want totally crazy, there were some journos on X who were arguing that the Hawks should change venues and take the Dream's normal 3,500 seat facility.

As if an NBA team is going to screw over thousands of ticket holders to placate a WNBA team.

A random mid-season NBA game is immensely more valuable than Game 6 of the WNBA finals.

That said, the NBA is going to get a A LOT of pressure between now and Thursday to move the Hawks game to accommodate the WNBA game. As woke as they have become, I'm not sure they'll bother standing up to the pressure. It would not surprise me one bit if they totally cave b/c of a massive public pressure campaign and then WNBA fans will say it's just b/c of how popular the WNBA is.
