How about a Hidlay victory and the state of Pennsylvania gets three world champions.
Dake and Levi in the Same Room is Incredible. Only the Best HS wrestlers in the Country Should want to be a Part of the NLWC. So Proud
I’m grateful for the opportunity to watch all the matches on Flo but even John Denver is sick of all the West Virginia tourism adverts.

That would be four. And don’t forget that Dake and Snyder both moved to PA to improve. Plus we have Zain getting bronze, and both Blaze and RBY also live and train in PA. All in all, I’d say that PA wrestling just made another statement.

Trent again goes underhook to shot but Russia defends. Seatbelt for Trent and he drives him off for 1. 2-0

Hard handfighting right in the center but no real action.

I don’t like this one. Trent absolutely should have had a td on the first exchange and the last one probably should have been scored 2-2. Both guys exposed. Tough loss

Crazy call against Hidley. The “initiation” of the move is way too subjective. Benefit of doubt should go to the attacking wrestler but that’s just my take.

Agreed, sure looked like a takedown for Hidlay. I thought it would be 2 for Hidlay and 2 exposure for the Russian at worst. Unfortunate, but still a great showing for the US.

I think the more egregious was the first exchange. Trent absolutely had a td instead of a stepout. They give continuation with both guys way out of bounds and in this instance Trent was still inbounds. Bad calls all around

Bro… it’s not even subjective. He hit a chest lock DEFENDING a fvking shot. I normally love that guy at the replay - but that was some FILA era, corruption level-check the wire transfer bllshite.
This has to be the best US team ever. 9 medals. 5 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze plus beating 2 great teams in Russia and Iran. I only wish that MM or Duke would’ve thrown their hat in the ring at 74kg. What a truly epic performance and one I won’t forget
