Bo. State football has to improve but the state fanbase was also questioning BOC ability to coach baseball. Yes, they were actually doing that. So excuse me if some fans don’t want to be apart of the fire every coach every year over everything. Doesn’t mean everyone is happy.

Also though he was mentioning Willie Fritz , and that would have been a great hire to get our program rebuilt, with good talent evaluation.

Did you read the tweet, it's talking about going after sitting head coaches. Do you believe we should hire another assistant coach? Because nobody in this fanbase wants that again.

Not usually, because I'm at work. But I don't have to listen to it to know with 100% certainty that he is a Mississippi State fan.

I also know several of his advertisers (and maybe half his audience) are olemiss people, so maybe you're hearing him try to purposely tamp down his fandom... I can't really speak to that.

I can't fault him for trying to be neutral on a public show like that. You gotta pay the bills, and "olemiss people buy shoes too", unfortunately.

30-year-old dude named Jackson who for some reason calls himself "Straight Funk" and can barely speak coherent sentences: Yarble. Garble. Ar'm Straight Furnk! Ar'm so kerl!

(They spend 30 minutes discussing Straight Funk's kickball game from the night before, followed by Bo bragging about how he lives on a lake, followed by a discussion of some inane food topic, followed by Bo discussing where he ate dinner last night and name-dropping Dave Bartoo or some other borderline relevant personality who comes on his show.)

Bo: Straight Funk! Oh man, you're the greatest.

Jackson: I'm so fargin' awesome.

Bo: A heater! Are you on a heater Straight Funk!

Jackson: Man I am on a heater. I stay on a heater.

Bo: Man! This show is so cutting edge. And awesome. Straight Funk!

nailed it. I had to listen to that garbage one day because Doug and Mark were off. bo and jackson spent the whole 45 minutes that I listened talking about how much tail jackson gets.

I don't agree with everything Bo says, or for that matter Brandon Walker, Hardy, Hadad or anyone else who is has any sort of public facing platform. But it's a helluva lot better than letting rebels have the run of public spaces as it used to be. Every politician and newspaper man in the state used to be a rebel homer, and it sucked. I don't understand the unrelenting bashing of Bo for basically no reason other than he pushes his advertisers a lot. I don't even like 4 Roses, but I damn sure understand why he talks about it so much. I'm also a capitalist.

But our fans beat the shiit out of him more than olemiss fans do. I swear some State fans would be more comfortable if david kellum had a morning show.

Well, he actually is a huge MSU fan. He really is......but he also has a show to sell, and he needs to appeal to a broad market, and I absolutely understand his need to do that (I'm a business owner, and if I relied solely on STATE fans, I would be pretty dog gone hungry).

So, in fairness to him, he is about as big a STATE fan as there ever has been.

Also of note, his show is not my flavor, and I can't stand listening to it. Has no appeal to me. AT. ALL.

Everyone wanting to fire Lebby now had us losing to LSU Bama Tx and Ok. I’m plenty irritated about the quality of both tackle positions and not being able to protect a Qb from those spots but his offense works with KT but Ok is the onl game we maybe would have won with a healthy KT. Maybe would have won against OK with the other backup that got hurt if not for the LT and RT.
I think once he can get some true OT’s in we are going to win. Having some film of KT to show some recruits may be the thing that convinces some to come on over.

if it’s not clear I’m not in favor of starting over, in not 100% on board with Lebby because of the OT issues but I’m in favor of giving him next year.

Also, I’m not sure what teams can beat Tx Bama LSU with a backup Qb, do you?
