Novak Djokovic won his men's record 23rd Grand Slam title Sunday with a 7-6 (1), 6-3, 7-5 victory over Casper Ruud in the French Open final.

I'm by no mean a fan of his but you have to hand it to him. He's set the record in the two decades that Nadal, Federer and Murray were at the top. Mental toughness is second to none, not just tennis, but all of sports.

He is clearly the best. Still has Wimbledon and us open this year to get to 25.

Right now he is at the pinnacle of his career. Djokovic's dominant tennis career has to do with more than just talent, he has openly admitted in interviews that he eats, sleeps and thinks tennis all the time, it is his whole life. I tip my hat to Ruud for a great effort.
