Learfield’s app is called TheVarsityNetwork and allows you to start at any time in the broadcast. I have not tried to sync, but it should be possible.

The app itself is very good. Offers hometown calls of most D1 programs. It was free last year. (I haven’t looked to see if that’s changed.)
