Is it beneficial to 6A and 5a schools to still be divided into North and South Brackets?

There are so many rivalries that end way too early in the playoffs.

5A and 6A HAS to be 1-32!!!!! teams travel wherever these days for games. if 1-32 happened this year it could possibly give us a 9-0 ESL vs 4-5 Rita in the FIRST Round (insane) since some think they may finish there and 4-5 team will get in.

Rita would have to be the ONLY 5A 4-5 team to get in for that scenario to work. They will have more playoff points than anyone else and wouldn't be #32

yes they would have to be the only 4-5 team in, probably should have clarified that a bit more in original post. either way, what a monster yet disappointing matchup in round 1 (state semi/title game type matchup)

As of right now, there are 11 CPL teams that would qualify for the playoffs in 6-8A. If they strike, they'd be in danger of missing the playoffs. The way I understand the playoffs, ESL would probably be bumped back to 6A, right? If 11 teams with qualifying records with larger enrollment numbers are disqualified?
