One poster on here floated the idea of Crest/KM going 3AA, not sure if that'd happen, but Freedom/Huss or Freedom/CC could be very interesting.
Also do not forget Weddington, they'll be 3A too and they are tough to beat. If all of those teams go 3A...wow

Weddington last year was one of the biggest small 3A teams in last year playoffs. So you think KM and Crest will be big 3A before them. Still will be some good games after the 1st round.

AC Reynolds was within 38 kids of being small last year, not sure what this year will bring, but it's possible depending on who makes playoffs and what our numbers are. We had 1360 last year and went big, Weddington who was small had 1322.

The NCHSAA came up with how they determined who’s in what classification but still didn’t put enough teams in 4A or 1A because they have 1st round bye weeks. I really don’t understand that. It’s not hard at all to fill out all classification

Crest is going small 3a and weddington is going big so could be an interesting small 3a battle

I didn't see their ADMs, thought were rather safely in 3A last year, if they go 3AA I think they can do some real damage. They have talent galore and great coaching.
I do agree, after the first round you will get some very good games
