Aike is right. 4-4 is middle of the pack...... not bottom feeder.

How many times has UK been .500 in SEC play since I was born in 1981? The answer will reveal why this season is considered a nice step up.

hey tuck66, 4-4 puts us squarely in the middle, and hey since we're playing the what if game, 5-3 puts us in the upper half of the middle.

Bet you been building pressure for the last month so you could complain. At least bring some facts with your agenda.

Oh, I stand corrected we'd be above Vandy and Mizzou.....Wow! That's a good football team right there I tell ya what!

When there are only 7 teams in a division and you are clearly better than 2 of them, like you listed, that is higher than the bottom, not to mention we also beat USCjr.

It was a bad, emotional post.

There are many things to critique from that game, your post only fits your frustrated narrative.

A 4-4 league record playing in what might be the worst division in College Football and the weakest SEC that we have seen or will ever see again..definitely something to be "proud" of ;)

That game last night had last year's Florida, Auburn & Louisville game written all over it..the chance to take the "next step" was right at our fingertips in our own backyard but what ensues is yet another choke job where Stoops coaches tight and scared and thinks the game is won on emotion alone..he gets his players fired up but forgets to coach the fundamentals and what results is dropped passes, fumbles, blown coverages, bad play calls, bad time management, etc

Better than the last 6 seasons

Better than all but four others since I've been a person. We've got to get a better qb for the future if we're to keep progressing, but we have a pretty good foundation now to build on. It's just a matter of continuing to build.

CMS being the guy to take UK to great heights is still very much up in the air.

The kids made too many mistakes but played on UGA's level on both sides of the ball, that was good to see.

We will have our 6 and a bowl this year, I'm ok with moral victories and will not move the goal posts from my preseason expectation for THIS season.

Next year it's time to take another step. Had to get to a bowl first.

I can see you are really upset...

We would run Southern Miss off the field as well. whoooopididooo!

And with the way the SEC has been this year we have no way of knowing which team will show up.

Besides, we dont play USCjr again, we already beat them.

Most likely scenario: Georgia still has to play Auburn. They will probably lose that game and end up 3-5 in conference play. Game cocks have to play Florida. Likely loss for Carolina they end up with 3-5. So we most likely end up ahead of 4 east teams, 5 if we were to pull the upset in Knoxville . Hardly a bottom feeder.

Some of you people are so negative you can't see any factual information. SEC East is down and not close to SEC West...but to argue worst division in P5 is absurd.

ACC Coastal Va Tech (UT hammered by 4 TDS), UNC (UGA beat on neutral), Miami, Pitt, Ga Tech, Virginia and Duke.

BIg Ten West division: Minnesota, Nebraska, Wisconsin (beat LSU), Iowa, Northwestern, Purdue and Illini. In all likelihood some of these teams will play SEC in bowl game and we'll see once again how slow white boy football fares vs. SEC team.

Big 12 while has no divisions like others...but these teams are in this conference: Iowa St, Kansas, Texas Tech, Texas is a mess, TCU is way down this year, Baylor is way down, Oklahoma is going to win in undefeated but has 2 losses in non conference.

For those arguing we're 1 loss away from bottom...look at standings. Mizzou, Vandy, USC and UT all play each other and will obtain losses. In all likelihood we end up at 4-4...

1. UF
2. UT (or the top 2 flip flop)
3. UK
4. UGA (losing to Auburn is my prediction)
5. USC
6. Vandy
7. Mizzou

A far cry from bottom on SEC.
