Pathetic.

"According to CBO another reason for the increased joblessness is that they are entering working age without “the cognitive and noncognitive skills” employers are looking for in their hires. “Cognitive skills are generally equivalent to academic skills, whereas noncognitive skills include such ‘soft skill’ as diligence, punctuality, and teamwork,”

The trend has largely negative implications for society as a whole. As non-tax payers who receive government aid, these young men are taking more our of the system than they are putting into it, a phenomena that will likely continue as they grow older. Not only are they a net drag budgetary in the shorter term but the social impact will also have an impact on the nation’s bottom line.

HowTF is someone born in 1982 a Millenial?

Generally, anyone born after 1980 is a millennial (aka Gen Y) up until about 2000.

"Millennials (also known as the Millennial Generation[1] or Generation Y, abbreviated to Gen Y) are the demographic cohort following Generation X. There are no precise dates for when the generation starts and ends; most researchers and commentators use birth years ranging from the early 1980s to around 2000."

There should be a good way to determine if someone is a millenial.

1) Are you a gigantic ***** that is easily offended?
2) You live off of your parents and rarely have had any responsibility
3) You received a trophy no matter how little you did.
4) You're a PC brainwashed queef

I think Willy said the millenial cutoff age was if you were in school and it was still okay to say "That's gay" when someone was lame or a douche. If you were in school after that was no longer acceptable; you're a millenial.

Take those that are a drag on society and a) send them to a very non-tolerant country, or b) open the express lane for death row in every state.

******** that hard working people have to pay the way for fools that can't stay out of prison. Make prison a place to be feared in more ways than just butt sex, and maybe that will deter a few as well.

I'm absolutely certain that this is the first time in history that an older generation has criticized a younger generation.

5/10/16, history was made.

Answer me this....

Is this generation better, stronger, smarter and harder working than the previous ones?

Or are they giant retarded pussies?

Depends on who you ask. The boomers bad mouthed my generation, sometimes deservedly, and mine is bad mouthing millenials, sometimes deservedly.

Honestly, the only ***** I really have with them is guys putting their hair in a bun. Next style trend will be a shawl and a chain for their glasses.

Yup. Job prospects suck and many companies have eliminated benefits or have just started hiring people part time.

Yes, millennials deserve a lot of blame, but previous generations almost had to try really really hard not to contribute towards retirement.

Same. (Born in 80. Used to be Gen X, apparently am Gen Y now)

And are these millennials in jail for real crimes or **** like drug possession?

There's a difference in my book.

Boomers - my parents' generation - mooched off society worse than anyone else, IMO.

'79 here, so thankfully I am considered Gen X. My brother is right in the middle of the millennial group, but I've never met a guy his age as hard working, and the anti of the group he is a part of.

These stereotypes are created so that previous generations can justify raping and pillaging of the coffers at everyone else's expense. I seriously doubt that millennials are any more lazy than the generations before them. They get blamed for the participation trophy mentality, but guess who created that? The generations before them. Or do you fools think they raised themselves and gave themselves participation trophies.....?

Who raised millenials?

Always seemed to me the baby boomers were the most worthless. Their parents are the ones who went through world wars and a depression....and then the baby boomers were completely careless with money, didn't even have to go to college, and lived in a job market where stabilization was the norm as opposed to a technological world where positions and jobs cease to exist every few years because they become obsolete. I mean how as a baby boomer do you not have worked hard enough to get an advanced degree..considering today's cost of books was tuition then. Maybe it was tougher to get in school, but there was still the same amount of them...you could have gotten in one. But I know, its because you didnt have to. My it must have been so tough to get a job at the mill and just show up everyday, considering A. Those jobs don't exist today B. If they do, they don't pay much, as they shouldnt. The market will expand with jobs again, when baby boomers all retire and stop clinging on to outdated inefficient practices. But then again, they'll start complaining about how everyone else wants handouts, while they simultaneously complain about not getting their social security and Medicare handouts.

How to know if your a millennial?

Inability to eat with both hands. Inability to walk down the street looking up. Being decision less based on your Facebook friends.
