When has NU had as many quality wings....as many guys who play above the rim?

On the wings...Kopp, Law, Taylor, Turner....and maybe even Nance....makes one think they'll be able to figure a solution to ball handling.

There were easily three times as many NU dunks in that video as I saw during my four years at Northwestern.

Length and switching on defense, Taylor and whoever's hot on offense. It will be ugly at times but interesting to watch.

And there were infinity times as many as I witnessed in my four years. This was during the time of the Lew Alcindor rule. Back when lay-up lines were lay-up lines.

I'll tell you what's also true. They won't have to play in that grave yard this year.

I drove by Welsh Ryan twice today and it looks like a palace.

They need to play together. Doesn't matter what they look like or how athletic they are. If they don't play together, including on defense (remember the TTU debacle at the Casino??) it won't matter any more than it did last season.

That was as bad of a basketball game as I've ever seen. Figures that was one of only two times in the past 15 years that I've gotten to see the Cats in person. Talk about a let down.
