I have a feeling that there are PSU fans out there who would argue that USC would give Tennessee a good game no question and then turn right around and say that PSU isn't on the level of Tennessee or Alabama

CBS' sideline reporter did a short feature during the game on those helmets. They showed a guy airbrushing them. I was really impressed. The guy (from Nebraska, of all places) did fantastic work. Great way to honor the 100th anniversary of the stadium.
And Michigan and Alabama lost - a stellar day all around!

Oh, I forgot. On the last Illinois touchdown the qb lost his helmet and had to miss the 2-point conversion. Illinois brings in the backup qb and he makes a great throw for the two points. The announcers are impressed and one says, “I wonder how much he’s getting paid.”
considering how Maryland usually "performs" during big home games I am not surprised

Michigan still has to play Indy, Ducks and OSU. Looks like a 6 loss season

Just saying. We beat a 3-4 team. I think beating Illinois was more impressive.
I think taking care of business and beating both was impressive but it may very well be that beating Illinois was more impressive
