Just total ineptness. These guys have no idea how to guard people. It's like they're all playing college ball for the first time.

Refs can't give us home cooking we're playing so poorly.

I'm starting to question KP's offensive philosophy, but I'm not sure what it really is. I can't remember seeing a entire roster struggle with confidence like these bunch. Ellis and Withers have the most confidence but it's because there's no one else who has it.

I do feel bad for these guys. I really don’t think it’s their fault and I’d bet they don’t see it that way either. So, I have to ask, if they come back from Maui 0-6, will KP lose this locker room? How long do these kids continue to play for this coach when they aren’t getting better?
If ANY previous UL coach started the season this way the fans would have burned down the YUM…and rightfully so.

Tonight, El is just going to have to take over.
I hope he has enough in the gas tank.
Tomorrow - egads.
This team is beyond pathetic 🤬🤮

All these charges by the Cards show just how much these guys are not focused in on the game. They're not learning at game pace.

The game must really be going fast to them as they try to do the right thing only to not do the right thing. There's no calming presence from a veteran as Ellis feels it's all on him.

After each negative play, the confidence wanes even more to where they forget about their defensive and rebounding responsibilities.

It's a perfect storm right now and no coach on the bench appears to know how to weather it. They're sticking to what they want to do but no one seems to be learning on the court.

As ridiculous as it may seem, maybe playing away from home could improve these guys confidence? They should be embarrassed and determined to figure it out. I think there's a few guys willing but not so much after that.

It is what it is. Hopefully the game shows down a bit where they don't feel like they have too much to think about on the floor.

I so hope the trip to Hawaii brings they guys some relief and we see a different product. But a change in climate can only do so much.

I am so frigging tired of bad officiating. Ellis did not charge that time and the idiot ref is right there. Refs are just programmed to call the offensive charge.

This is just sad. They don’t look coached. Curry is out of shape. Wtf has Payne been doing.

It will truly be a miracle if the Cards win this game. To get that one break or whistle seems like a Powerball long shot.

Payne said they aren’t having good practices. They are 0-2 and don’t practice good. I am not even sure what you do with that.

I think the problem is a lack of experienced leadership. There's no one to step in and take control and lead by example.

But to lose again by one point at the buzzer is frigging torture and I'm sorry to say it's a Louisville trademark. Our career record at the buzzer is probably something like 7 and 40.

I had a BB coach once that said "Pain causes concentration". Could be that Payne need to make them run, run and run some more...gut sprints I think their called.

I've said it in another thread...but here it is again...press, press, and press some more. Either get in shape or get shaped out. Losing breeds complacency and lack of hustle and effort. Running builds up stamina and endurance...wear the other team out. Don't matter if you lose by 1 or 21 you still lose...at least go down with a supreme effort...pressing builds that into your psyche. Just f'n do it. Results can't be any worse can they?
