Beat Bama.... they drilled Bama. How precisely is Bama ranked so much higher than scUM and USC??? USC's 2 losses were extremely tight losses to ILL and ND (currently #21 and #9 in the CFP Rankings). scUM's losses were to OU (who Bama also lost to and USC). Bama is clearly the most overrated team in the CFP Poll for the 2nd year in a row - ridiculous.

Relative to pre / early season expectations, Louisville has been as big a disappointment as Penn State.

SoCal with an excellent opening drive for a TD @ Oregon. I'm pulling for SoCal in this one. Glad it's on CBS and not FOX so we don't have to listen to Gus Johnson.
Someone on the other board said Chesney might be off the list with this close win against Wazzu. I reminded him that Ole Miss only beat Wazzu by 3 and that game was at Ole Miss.
Yes but right now Oregon is gashing SoCal with their running game. SoCal will have to win a high scoring game the way their defense is playing.

No thanks. He seems to be a younger version of Kliff Kingsbury. Too QB centric with no HC experience at any level.
I'm now of the opinion that successful CFB HC's have to be / once were successful HS coaches. (e.g. Larry Johnson Sr, Terry Smith, Bill Belton). You can't just be a good coordinator. You have to be knowledgeable about and responsible for all aspects of a successful team (O, D, ST)
