Just watch the replay of the pit in Miami game. Love how that game ended. Duzz call the timeout down 24 with about a minute left so Miami proceeds to keep running plays and throws a 30+ yard pass to get a touchdown.

With all the talk about how great the SEC is this year, it still ends up being Bama vs Georgia….maybe it’s not as great as some claim.

That should have been a touchback. Glad it’s not, but that was obvious.

People that say that that should have been a touchback have the the runner rule mixed up with the what is a catch rule. JS caught the pass before the end zone. As soon as he starts to run he becomes a runner. Once he is a runner as soon as he crosses the goal line plane as a runner with possession of the ball which the replay showed that he did have the ball pinned to his chest ,the play is over. It is a TD. That is why it was upheld. With all due respect to Klatt and that so called rules expert they had it wrong.

I saw nothing that indicated it should have been ruled a touchback.
