He had a fine game, Wilson. And the Steelers D played very disciplined, stopped Daniels running. On the last drive Daniels came this close to breaking a run that would have gone for 20 easy, got tripped up. Good fundamental football by the Steelers, well done.
My biggest concern from this game is the injury to Highsmith. He takes this D to another level opposite of Watt.
Daniels played really tight. This will be a good loss for him, take a few looks at what he can do differently.
That Steelers D makes everyone play tight. He did fine. He’s going to be a star as long as they can protect him and keep him healthy.
To be clear on this, the Steelers weren't going for it. They were going hard snap and let the play clock run out to take the penalty for a better position to punt. Russ went hard count and the rookie took the bait.
