Every single made shot by Bellarmine has been wide open which was what I expected. Cards once again struggle when KP substitutes.

Can't say KP doesn't care about losing this game like that exhibition game, but he's substituting the same way.
Do we have any offensive sets? This looks like dribble drive lite and with each empty possession, there’s more and more panic.
Agreed. Let’s hope that whatever KP is trying, will somehow catch on. And then - with the ncaa cloud lifted - he is going to recruit as advertised.
They only have one guy that can effectively pass into the paint and he’s hoisting 25’ jumpers.
Ellis is just trying too hard. I just don't get why we don't post Curry. We should have gotten him the ball on the block 4 or 5 times by now.
Amazing how much better the offense looks when they move the ball. It would help to get some easy ones in transition.

Payne was preaching pride in wearing the uniform. These guys don’t have it. They should be embarrassed. Outplayed and out hustled and less physical than Bellarmine

This is an embarrassment. It’s one thing to be limited offensively but when you don’t give a **** on defense or rebounding then you don’t deserve to wear the UofL jersey. I feel like a damn fool renewing my season tickets. Payne not getting some grad transfers was coaching malpractice.
The overall 1v1 and team defense was awful in the 1st half. Defense has to to improve in the 2nd half or they are going to get ran.

This is currently a one dimensional team. A one trick pony. I haven't seen one set play this entire game. No inbound plays, No plays off of missed free throws, nothing is getting set. This is primarily back yard ball without a leader.
Much better defense this half. Getting some good shot opportunities off of dribble penetration as well.
A few more easy ones in transition might flip this game.
