At least as a number 8 seed Wisconsin proved they deserved better by taking a number 4 seed to overtime where they still almost pulled off the win, losing by one point on a buzzer beater.

Northwestern, Michigan, and Wisconsin all played valiantly to the end in their advanced games that were near wins, giving The Big 10 validity.

The B1G lost 2 of its three S16 teams by a total of 2-pts combined: a FT each. Shame. Especially considering both were playing much higher-seeded teams: (7) vs (3); (8) vs (4). Oh well!
