There were two recruits that stood out to me. There was one I think in the first/second in the middle of the row in a Rutgers sweatshirt that was really into the game. He was cheering and waving his pom-pom all game.Does anyone know who he was? There was also a kid about a row behind him that was also into the game otherwise I really didn't see much enthusiasm.

I think there were players acting as hosts. That could explain the enthusiasm.

I think it is absurd. Schiano is living off our men's basketball team's success. Our students should be in those seats. When our basketball recruits attend a football game we usually get clobbered. Football must start showing major improvement and carry their own weight. We were only 2-7 in BIG 10 football games this past season and never even got beyond the 50 yard line against Penn State. We got beaten to a pulp by Maryland with a bowl game on the line. Ohio State lost 52-13, Michigan State Lost 31-13, Northwestern Lost 21-7, Wisconsin Lost 52-3, Penn State Lost 28-0, Maryland Lost 40-16 and Wake Forest we lost 38-10. On top of that we just lost our top recruiter in Coach Brown. This is totally embarrassing. We are a basketball school.
WTF??

Ok. I was just giving you some context.
no problem, what you said is something that might have been the case.
Just implied, if it was ,the recruit might have been impressed with his host's school spirit and looked on RU a little better as a program to join up with

Better solution. Pick the game and put them where 118 used to be or the section over top of that. suck up the cash for one game and use it like a recruiting lounge like at the stadium.

Personally I care way more that we moved the students back and lost those rows and section 118 for 19 games than I do about losing (?) Those rows for 1 game.
