They are rivalries sure, and the concept of the Heroes Game is outstanding.

Rivalry games are important. One is in-state, the other 3 are adjacent states. The are important for recruiting and pride. You expect to get the very best from your opponent in these games.

I believe Iowa is the only trophy game for ISU and Nebraska.

The announcers talked a lot about how much a win would mean to the Huskers - and they got stomped.
