Personally, I think we are about a Top 15 team. I never bought into the defensive hype. We played over our heads in Columbus and have shown we are not great against Tulane, Baylor and ISU.

Tulane was my first clue. They run about 5 plays, just disguised a little different. When they went up and down the field the 1st quarter on 5 basic plays. I new our guys, didn't study game film. Or just do not have what I call football IQ.

Enjoy the #12 ranking now. It will diminish as the season goes on. Watch.

Yes agree the Tulane blundering was the red X on the Sooners defensive struggles. We better shape up fast. Got some serious trouble ahead. Better get offensively in high gear too.

Hell, last year USC was 3rd in the final poll with 3 losses, I've never seen that before. I think we end up Top 10-15, with 3 or 4 losses. We have a marque win and if we beat a TCU, Okielite but loss to Texass, WVU and either Okielite or TCU. That's 2 quality wins plus a bowl win.

Makes me wonder what in the hell did they do in the bye week.

I sure hope they had a great time, they played like they didn't even practice. I bet Saban wouldn't go for it.
Saban covered some of this after Alabama came in slacking off against Chattanooga last year. Safe to say it was a wakeup call and it didn't happen again.

The difference here is OU had a wakeup call against Baylor. It seems that game had zero effect on the teams mentality going forward.
