I hope they do beat Oregon. I always thought the playoffs should be ALL D1-A Conference Champions and then fill to 16 with the highest ranked schools that are not conf. champs.

Agreed. I also would get rid of the first round bye. Just pick the 16 and seed them accordingly. First round byes seem to work against those teams last year.

Change that 16 to 20 or more ideally 24 with all conference winners and we're golden
