If people keep treating it like the flu, rural hospitals will be flooded AFTER the cities drain resources.
1) No one is saying all is great. 2) The Federal response so far has been good, point to me where it hasn't dramatically failed due to Trump.

He is highlighting how wrong downplaying this event months ago was wrong with how serious it is since that downplaying is partly responsible for the results occurring. That is the main point.

First, two separate incidents are not comparable.
Second, Bud was rubbing in the face of wingnuts he was right with his comments prior to invading Iraq at the expense of not giving a rat's *** about the brave soldiers just doing their jobs, regardless of the politics. Soaring can speak for himself but his comments are not saying he was right but he is holding the president accountable, which was Bud's warped side intent as well.

130 die every day from ODs. It will only take 11 days from midnight to overtake the deadly virus. We could have taken a fraction of what we've spent and spent it on interdiction and saved many more lives than this is going to end up costing.
Then you're incredibly naive. In January, even Fauci was somewhat downplaying this event. In February Trump had already formed a task force and instituted a travel ban. The CDC opted to use their own testing protocols which delayed availability of testing and limited those being tested. They corrected the testing and have been steadily improving testing throughout the country.
The results occurring now would be far worse, Italy like, had we NOT done the things the administration did. We have to come to terms with the fact that this virus is going to spread. Period. Daily death totals only serve a singular purpose, to turn those deaths into a political football.
