Anyone else watching/watched this? Netflix original about a HS girl who committed suicide.

9 episodes in so far. Really intriguing show that keeps you watching and keeps me confused.

Moral of the story, if you kill yourself in HS everyone will love you for a week and think what could I have done to help him/her. Then ppl go back to their lives and the person is forgotten. Kill yourself when you're an adult 9/10 ppl don't care

I couldn't get through the first ten minutes of episode one. Not Netflix's finest hour IMHO.

Watched it (in teh background) because I read it was good and controversial and hey I can watch any genre, but this show was awful on many levels.

I literally couldn't go 10 minutes without wanting to reach through the screen and strangle someone, particularly the main two protagonists.

I watched it this weekend, it wasn't bad. Up until episode 11 or 12, where the main reason for the suicide happened, I thought most of it was typical crap (for her) kids go through in high school. I don't know why she called some out for being so "mean to her". They've already set the groundwork for a season 2.

JUST LISTEN TO THE GAWDDAYUM TAPES CLAY!

The last episode was done fairly well. Dark, real, intimate. I thought the bit with the Porter could have been a cliched mess, but they pulled it off. The scene of the parents coming into the bathroom was crushing.

But this series had way too many flaws, not to mention that the writers didn't touch on the mental illness aspect of suicidal tendencies.

Teenagers probably enjoyed it. For the most part, it seems like it was written by teens.

HAH! That's exactly what I said, I told my wife, he should just carve out an effin Saturday and binge listen instead of bugging the ish out of everyone.
HAHAHA What was that dude's name, Tony, or as Kyfan606 referred to him as, Fezz. Should have made Clay eat those damn tapes.
13 times Tony told Clay to listen to the mudderfuggin tapes.

My advice, save your time and watch the last 2 episodes, if any.

Speaking of Netflix, that new Adam Sandler movie has to be the biggest POS movie he has ever made and he has made some duds.

Still cannot believe how much they paid Chappell to do some standup shows on Netflix. His best days are way behind him.
