"Alan Usher, who owns more than a dozen stations throughout Nebraska, said he plans to distribute more of The Zone's sports content — including its live broadcasts of Creighton basketball games — on other stations throughout the state.

He had positive things to say about The Zone's status as the CU rights holder in an arrangement that features Zone talk show host John Bishop as the Jays' play-by-play voice.

He said he expects some of The Zone's Creighton-focused content to play well in central and western Nebraska, though those regions are often associated more with Nebraska."

A Jaysker businessman from Grand Island bought 1620 and a dozen other Nebraska stations, he wants to spread Creighton propaganda across the state.

I wonder if there is any type of Jay love outside of Omaha and maybe Lincoln.

I know we have some central and western Nebraska residents, are the Jays even a thing out there?

I don’t think anybody outside of West Omaha wants that

I wonder if there is any type of Jay love outside of Omaha and maybe Lincoln.

I know we have some central and western Nebraska residents, are the Jays even a thing out there?
Maybe a better question would be how many advertisers based in the western half of the state are willing to spend ad dollars on this?
