Quit in between second and third episode. Just not for me. Not into sci-fi-ish stuff.
Ugh...I have it on my list but must have missed that is was sci-fi. Will now remove.
Me too I just thought it was more of a historical mystery-type. I really gave it a good try…my sci-fi nerd buddies would’ve been proud.
I like good sci-fi. Watched the first episode and thought it felt like a bad version of Lost.
It gets very convoluted very quickly, and yes, it is very similar to lost. You also have many different nationalities speaking different languages to each other yet everyone understands one another.
uh no that is not remotely accurate. Did you even really watch it?
I really liked Dark (even though the main character had one of the most punchable faces ever) and was intrigued because 1899 was by the same guys who made that show. 1899's gotten mixed reviews. I'm leaning towards not watching, or waiting at least till the 2nd season comes out. First season's ending was apparently unsatisfying for many and have read some complaints about pacing issues and character development.
Made it thru 4-5 episodes . looked like it was headed over a cliff , gave up . Intriguing at first .. then goes nuts
It was quite an interesting concept so I was all over it. Really disappointed
Pacing of the first episode resembles that conclusion, IMO. Just felt odd, like they were throwing too much at the wall too quickly.
