NU will have five open scholarships.

And a pretty experienced group above the quintet who commit: Turner, Gaines, Benson, Falzon, Kopp, Lathon, Nance and Ryan (who'd I miss?).

If Collins and company do something similar to what they accomplished with recruiting this year it will again be historic.

Pardon, Ash, Taylor, Law and "open" will be replaced by?

Who would you say right now is the "most likely" to commit to NU in the FY19 class? So far I'm hearing very little about likely leans at this time. Doesn't mean they aren't out there, but there has been very little information circulating on NU's 19 targets.

I know one guy who isn't going to NU. Downstate four-star Francis Okoro (6-9) had been mentioned with NU. He committed to Oregon yesterday.

For 2020, I just saw an interview with Fenwick's DJ Steward. There was no mention of NU in a group of five schools. That's not a great sign, but it's early.

We didn’t offer either one of them so this isn’t surprising.

Fenwick freshman Bryce Hopkins is another local underclassmem to watch. I saw him play for the first time against my son’s team late this past season and I was impressed. He is not as heralded as Steward but I would not be shocked if he turns out to be the better player when it is all said and done.
