Who wins this week in 1A and who will face the Eastern Champion. I say Murphy or Robbinsville.
Who wins this week and who will face the east for the State Championship. And we can't leave out who will the western champion face from the east, Tarboro ?

East Surry will be hard to beat at home, East Surry over PLP by 2 TDs is my guess. PLP's QB is better than East Surry's also my opinion. But East Surry has other players to make the difference. If ES can stop PLP's QB they may win by a larger score. To me, he was their biggest weapon and responsible for all their TDs.

I said if East Surry could shut down PLP's QB they could win and so far they have.

East Surry defense was on tonite , pressured that qb all nite, he done a great job escaping tackles, he just had a hard time finding a lot of openings down field. Cardinals played with a lot of fire tonite, coaching staff had those kids really pumped .Gosnell layed down some monster hits all nite .

Mount Airy was young and had as good a QB as PLP but didn't have a receiver like Donavan Green who is doing great at Wake Forest. This fall hopefully they will be back on top of the NWC. If they had the receivers like Greene they could have beat East Surry & PLP. MA QB passed for over 3100 yards his sophomore year but with an injury, he missed his junior year and didn't have the receivers he had his sophomore year. But this is no excuse because injuries are part of the game. HE still passed over 1000 yards this short 7 game season. Hats off to Holden Poindexter on over 4,000 yards in 2 seasons, a full season, and a 7 game season. Go Bears ! 🏈

Congrats to East Surry boys against plp , kids actually surprised me even more in this game , undoubtedly the best defense the cards have had in years, and I saw in a post earlier that the younger boaz was ahead of Jefferson at this point in high school and I think he is passing was great and he is quicker than Jefferson in the pocket.

so how many people dose east surrey seat at the stadium , I here they trying to limit tickets to Polk

Will probably have 800 but that includes priority for visiting team and our parents and students. Should be a couple of hundred available for general public. I think they go on sale on Wednesday at 8:00 AM.

There was 8500+ there when TA Mclindon and Albemarle came to town for the Western finals years ago.
