1a/2a Playoffs

I don’t want to see any of the Robbinsville posters who used to talk about how easy the east is celebrating winning the 1A west this year.
1a East and West are weak. So it's even. The complaint was 1a West was brutal while 1a east west a cake walk which leads to an advantage.

KW all you had to do is read nchsaa rules on it. I've been posting for a year that 1a would be reduced to five rounds and not combined.
You also was going to give out Amazon gift card for a pickem contest and i haven't seen that since week 2 lol. Sorry i didn't see your posts.
What i was confused on was a rule i saw where it said if there was less than half the schools in a certain class like 1a was participating then it would be combined for playoff purposes with the next higher up class 2a. I swear i saw that written somewhere a few months back on nchsaa website.but heck i could have dreamed it for all i know....I'm getting old lol
It says if one class has less that 50% combine with the next class that ALSO has less than 50%.
That's is why wrestling combined 1a2a because both 1a and 2a have less than 50% in wrestling. In football only 1a has less. The the rules says if only 1 class has less than 50% reduce the playoffs by one round for that class and play ball. If reducing by one round cannot be achieved combine 1a and 2a anyway.

I noticed they didn't announce until Thursday before the game I think. That's kinda late in the week.

Prolly not next year I'll participate in yours just wish there was some type of incentive instead of just bragging rights but it's still fun
