Not to pile on, but this is why the north and south divisions don't work for most divisions. Probably 5 or 6 northern 1A teams better than anyone in the south.

LW has won 5 of the last 8 1a titles. Been in the 1a title game 7 of 8 years. They just beat Brown Co worse than Althoff beat them last year. And I bet this will go largely ignored by the folks who were outraged last year.

It shouldn’t matter if it’s a small or big school, with or without a feeder program, public or private…it should be about 1 thing and 1 thing only…Championship Wins.

The same structure applied to the Privates should be applied to Publics as well. It’s not about penalizing a school for winning - it’s about giving other schools an opportunity to win.
