If anyone would know about being a joke it is you.1A is a joke like it once was. Robbinsville may win 18 more smh.
Omg your so funny! If anyone would know about being a joke it is you.
MA STUD is obviously just jealous and bitter. It's a sad thing to see.Ma's Pud, are you still sore that little Robbinsville (with basically an average Robbinsville team) took your bear team(considered to possible the best MA ever) to the wire a few years ago. This must really hurt, seeing as to how you are preoccupied with the poor little Knights.
Jealous of what? Man yall ar so freaking. Smart.MA STUD is obviously just jealous and bitter. It's a sad thing to see.
That was prob best Robb team in long time. Best MA may been 2008 or maybe in the late 70s when they were small like Robb and played up in 3A.Ma's Pud, are you still sore that little Robbinsville (with basically an average Robbinsville team) took your bear team(considered to possible the best MA ever) to the wire a few years ago. Don't you know man? Telling the truth makes you jealous and bitter. Don't feel bad. I didn't know either until I posted here.Jealous of what? Man yall ar so freaking. Smart.
Isn't this this excuses for a much bigger school (MA) just scraping by a much smaller school (Robbinsville). FYI MA has never been small like Robbinsville. Do you have any new excuses? That was prob best Robb team in long time. Best MA may been 2008 or maybe in the late 70s when they were small like Robb and played up in 3A.
If your not jealous or green with envy, then why are you here? You would think after poor little MA went 3A and big , bad Robbinsville went 1A then you wouldn't be obsessed with them. Apparently they still live rent free in the wide open spaces in your head.Jealous of what? Man yall ar so freaking. Smart.
Yeah I forgot we not allowed to have an opinion and talk about football on a message board. Now your turn say something smart ZZZ to make you feel better. If your not jealous or green with envy, then why are you here? You would think after poor little MA went 3A and big , bad Robbinsville went 1A then you wouldn't be obsessed with them. Apparently they still live rent free in the wide open spaces in your head.
Kind of how you belittled MA accomplishments? Yes MA beat a Robb school that had less students. Like you said have to play where stae puts you.And that game wasnt that close look at the stats. Also the other teams MA beat were same size with some having more students than them. Held Tarboro to very low offensive numbers as well. No one has done that especially in Title game. You are entitled to an opinion. The way you did it presents a two fold problem. First, by trying to belittle a potential Robbinsville title you have insulted all the 1A teams. Perhaps you don't understand the way HS athletics are structured. These teams can only participate in the class to which they are assigned. Ordinary people with a limited grasp of athletics can understand this. Secondly, your comments have been the result of your dislike for mountain teams (noteably Robbinsville).. Your comment was made not to inform or promote discussion . Basically it was much like a four year old calling names. You don't realize it but casts you in a very poor light. It reveals your character or like there of.
On a side note, I would wait for you to say something smart, but I don't have years or decades to wait.
Stud, seriously man? Like I feel bad for even chiming in on a 1a thread as it doesn't pertain to me but It is shared with the 2a but for you to literally come onto a 1a 2a board as a 3a school fan just to start something. Like this is the reason people dont care much for you MA people.
I try and stay out of things as I usually get along with a few posters from MA but this whole thread is completely unnecessary.
Ma Pud, where did I belittle MA's team? I made mention that one of the teams was possibly their best team ever, how is that insulting. BTW you just showed the world that you really don't understand the game. You say "look at the stats", "we held Taraboro" stats don't win games. -points do. Losers use stats as excusesKind of how you belittled MA accomplishments? Yes MA beat a Robb school that had less students. I agree Split classes.was.the best way. Schools could be put in right playoff class every year. Not sure why they did away with it.I have a genuine question with no insults intended. You all used to have 4 classes and split by A & AA for a total of 8 champions? Then you made 4 classes with 4 champs that was super competitive and had to have been hard on the smaller schools in each division? Now you have 8 single classes for 8 champions again? Was A&AA for 4 classes not likes either? Was that not the same amount of teams in each class as it is now? I respectfully ask the question too trying to figure out why everyone is down on the 1A? I know everyone had their own formulas and ideas on how to divide the schools up evenly and fairly when they started talking realignment. I thought one person talked about having 6 classes on the old board? Maybe they will switch to that next realignment to hit a happy medium on competition? Good luck to all the teams. In the end, all you can do is play the team in front of you, win and handle your business. Good luck to all the players and fans traveling!!
The 8 classes and the splitting of the original 4 classes are similar but with a few major differences. One of the major ways they differ is that in the 8 class system you are taking 96 teams to the playoffs in the say 1A and 2A. In the old split 1A (basically the same as the new 1A,2A) they would only take 64. With our new system we have diluted the quality of playoff teams by including teams with lesser records. The other significant change is that in the split system applied to only football, the new 8 classes is applied to all sports in theory.I have a genuine question with no insults intended. They'll be well rested when they get there and so will the Robbinsville starters in the second half.East Columbus playing at North Stokes is a 3 1/2-hour drive (by car, so add some for the bus). But should East Columbus advance to play Robbinsville, they are looking at a six-hour drive.

With the roads going into North Stokes, Columbus will have to forfeit because most of players will be car sick lol. They'll be well rested when they get there and so will the Robbinsville starters in the second half.
It’s funny that you say that, about 10-15 years ago N. Stokes hosted a playoff game and they played a down east school. When I was talking to coach in pregame, he said all his kids were hanging their heads out the window throwing up.With the roads going into North Stokes, Columbus will have to forfeit because most of players will be car sick lol.
I could understand all the S curves. In the middle of nowhereIt’s funny that you say that, about 10-15 years ago N. Stokes hosted a playoff game and they played a down east school. When I was talking to coach in pregame, he said all his kids were hanging their heads out the window throwing up.
No it's not the same as A/AA then 1a was around 500-520 not it's 380. I'd rather go back to A/Aa than 6 classes. Under sic classes small 1a teams would compete against teams with 600+.I have a genuine question with no insults intended. I don't think schools will vote to go to six classes.
So back when Cherokee won state they were playing against schools with 500 students? Hmmm bc MA went to state that year and had 530 students and played in 1AA. What am I missing here?Just to add to this, or put it in different words. When classifications were split for playoffs only, the A/AA was done after you already made the playoffs. So the schools that had 200 kids had to compete with schools that had 500 kids for a playoff spot. Now the classifications are split before the season already starts, so the schools that have 200 kids, only have to compete with other schools that have 200-350 kids. Makes it more "fair" to start the season.
Okay? What is your point? So back when Cherokee won state they were playing against schools with 500 students? Hmmm bc MA went to state that year and had 530 students and played in 1AA. What am I missing here?
