With all the different polls floating around out there I thought I would take a stab at it. Most agree the MaxPreps poll is ridiculous. I am sure some will disagree and some will be offended that your team isn’t listed. That’s fine...just a little fun. If you disagree then list your top ten.

1- Tarboro
2- Mount Airy
3- North Stanly
4- Holmes
5- Murphy
6- East Surry
7- Mitchell
8- North Hampton
9- North Rowan
10- Riverside

I would put Robbinsville ahead of TJ. They have two losses. One to a very good Murphy team the other to Christ School that recruits nationally. They will be a tough out in the playoffs and know how to win on the road . I know there is hype for TJ but to be the man you have to beat the man and they have never made it to a western regional final .

After watching tj last year I’d put rville over them . And I’d put Murphy and Mitchell as top two western teams

I thought TJ was a really good team last year and had a chance to go all the way...I thought wrong...So what I think might not mean much. But TJ looks like a better team this season in many respects compared to last year.
And, also, I think Cherokee's star senior QB is laregely what pushed them over the edge and lead them to the championship, and in that same respect I think Nomi can possibly do the same this year as a senior.
And really last season is in the past. TJ is not the same team as they were last season, just like the Braves aren't the same team as they were last season.
