Im liking what I see in all 3 aspects thus far, BYU is a tough opponent and should be a good game.
Our DEs and Linebackers got owned on that TD.Defense needs work. But we knew that from last year.
He lost 20 pounds over the offseason. He's not the big slow bulky dude anymore.Stretch play to Cross? Beck back for the game?
Team is so much better coached.. It's evident... A lil too much passing but at least execution is on point thus far. Defense can't give up big plays like that
If the defense can get a few stops, we got this. At some point BYU has to start defending the edges which will open up the running game.
We're trying to help our TWO freshmen linebackers. Playing it pretty vanilla right now and trying to make Hill beat us with his arm hoping he makes some mistakes. At some point you hope we can get pressure with our D line. Always a topic of discussion. Blitz or play safe. I dunno with a guy like Hill you pick your poison.D needs to get pressure. If Hill can just sit back there it's gonna be tough
D needs to get pressure. If Hill can just sit back there it's gonna be tough
Need to see our vaunted D linemen step. Our lack of rush from DE is noticeable. This
