I'm sorry, this defensive scheme has shown itself to be a huge liability. Who puts a linebacker on a slot receiver with no support whatsoever?
I've said it 2 weeks in a row. I really hope these kids we got last year and kids we get in the future at DB can play. Same with LBs
Only positive I see is the team seems very calm and not frustrated. Reminds me of a TO coached team.. Hopefully after adjustments they can make a run
You know Rose, the defense has been torched. How about less taunting of the fan base?
I think there's a real lack of understanding of just how bad our talent level is. These coaches have made some calls I don't agree with, but they're also coaching with one hand tied behind their backs, especially on defense.
Yeah, you're not wrong, it just annoys me that they gave up a 40 yard play and then two plays later Rose is acting like we just shut them down.
Yep...that 1st down play qb run was dumb. I love when they try the fade in the red zone. They have guys running free everywhere and they have thrown two third down passes to the deep flag in the red zone...big help to us.
At this point gonna find the positives. Thats 2 drives into the red zone and only 2 FGs. Would have rather had no points but it's better than 2 tds.
Eh, I think you're underestimating how difficult that coverage is to make in that situation. His first job is to make sure he's blanketed his man.
