Fyfe doesn't look too bad. Short passing game is much better because not every ball is traveling 90 mph.

Fyfe looked good there. So did Morgan.

Wondering if Armstrong could have made those throws....

Yes, he could have. He's been making them all year. The question is whether or not those were the primary receivers. If Fyfe was checking down to them, that would be a change from Tommy, but I honestly don't know.

wow ... Gerry was lucky .... he has regressed so badly this year it isn't funny ...he's a complete liability
You would think the thought might pop into his head, "Why is this WR slowing down and making a U-turn? Perhaps there is a football in the air somewhere!"

But apparently not.

Not being an ***, but what are we seeing that we will be better next year? Is it going to be pure attitude and mental? Players will be virtually the same.

The coach is responsible for putting the players in the best positions to succeed. Gerry may be a victim of this and others as well....

I dont give a crap if its Purdue or OSU if you stack the box with 8 or 9 guys with how bad our Oline is, your going to have trouble running the ball. Purdue is being smart, we never get any other QBs reps and there thinking there oline sucks, lets load up the box and make there very inexperienced QB threw the ball. Smart one the Boilermakers part. Even if we had Tommy there, it would be a good move because our line sucks.
