Langsdorf isn't going to "bombs away" He's drawing up plays that have several receivers running different routes. The person who goes to bombs away is ****ing Tommy. Cethan was wide open in the flat.
Alright dude, we get it. You hate Tommy. Now enough with the bashing every post. Nothing wrong with critiquing him, but when every post of yours is bashing him, enough is enough.

So glad I'm at work. How does this happen against one of the worst offenses in the country?????
two broken plays. It's not like Iowa is using long drives to beat us. People who make comments like you just did don't seem to understand that.

Two big plays. Bando and Williams missed a tackle on a long run. The other Williams got out of coverage on another.

Also- Tommy isn't near where he needs to end to win this game.

Ok you guys realize that Langs calls a play, he doesn't tell tommy who to throw the ball to. Tommy is the one choosing to throw the YOLO balls. I'm sure Langs isn't calling that play with the hope tommy chucks it 30 yards down field on 3rd and 4. The lack football knowlegde on here is just astounding

What's astounding is a fourth year starter who still can't go through his progressions.

I guess I'm not as smart as you, but the TD pass was not a broken play---it was a simple slant pattern that any HS team can run. AWFUL defense.

I don't hate him, I'm just really tired of him making poor decision after poor decision. But I'll stop.

You sir, are incorrect. Neither play was broken. The RB cut back against the grain, missed tackle in the hole, hes gone with no backside help. On the 2nd the receiver is running wide open across the middle with the defender trailing. Pure football plays, nothing broken. sheez

Where and when. Every time I see them get asked about those "choices" they always say "there were other guys we could see open we wish Tommy had ......"
There's been a few times I've heard Riley and Langsdorf say the opportunity presented itself and play wasn't made. The Wisconsin game comes to mind.
