With weather like this, it's too bad we didn't have a read option game plan available with Smothers. I don't believe in Purdy, although he did have a nice ball on that first drive.

They really do a great job with pulling their guards and tackles... It looks a lot like last year where the 2nd level defenders got caught flat-footed and cant get off the blocks....

I won’t hang in here for very long. Penalties are back in full effect. Killing our drives and reigniting theirs. #thenebraskaway

Just another example of how clueless the refs are. Penalty should have been holding, not DPI, ball has to be in the air for it to be DPI, ball was definitely not in the air when the contact occurred. Makes a big difference in penalty yardage. Clueless morons as usual. And clueless moron commentators just blab on and say nothing about it.

Penalties.. terrible tackling.. watch how high they tackle.. thats just bad.. just as long as we have walkons starting on the dline we will get rolled up on by everyone else in this schedule..
