Why QB sneak in shotgun?
I thought it was a perfect play call based on how he has run the ball the past few games. The jump was just idiotic. He goes low with a running start + a push and he has that easy.

Perfect example of trying to do too much.

Mercifully fast 1st Quarter for giving up a turnover inside own 30. Some good things on the last drive upon which to build. That is where we are: we have no choice but to look at this as building.

Based on number of recruits. But we’ve been out of the top 30 for years on average star recruits. Plus we just aren’t even going to get the top blue chippers. We are Minn and Iowa.
Nebraska has averaged #5 in the Big Ten in average stars, but plays at about #12 in the conference.

Most important metric in this a game is gonna be how many injuries we sustain. All that matters at this point. Hopefully no season-ending types…

We have no business being on the field with this team.

I didn't think we had a realistic chance to win but I hoped our defense would keep it close. Geez.
