It's not just about winning. Kansas is horrible and if we were playing any team that had talent we would not be winning this game. So we win this week and get blasted a couple weeks from now. It's so easy to see that Laviano needs his receivers to be wide open 10 yards down the field (no more than that) to hit them. We are settling for horrible to mediocre play at best.

I agree about Laviano. Disagree about winning. It's always about winning. That's all it's about.

Coach will probably say they'll review film. Then come back and say CL has a great arm and will be starter. It baffles me when comments like that are made and pretend that the spectators are oblivious and watching a completely different game.

uh, most decent teams would put 50 on them. hell memphis scored 55.

no our problem is that it's pretty clear we're a team that will lose 50-0 to any b1g elite. and as fans, we need to stop accepting a coaching staff that has no hope of being competitive.

If you have laviano' arm, then you need to have good decision making and command of offense....

I have no idea what Elmer and Josh's little brother see....

Such a short sided move

Playing this garbage opponent will keep Laviano as out starter for a longer period of time. sigh

I really think he thought he was throwing it away, on that pick. But was just too lazy on the throw. Very nice play for the TD. He's inconsistent, but young. I think we'd have growing pains with either.

Overall, team is playing pretty undisciplined.

I don't know how many times it has been stated, but fans being upset about the coaching staff isn't what determines who is the coach. The people cutting the checks determines who is the coach.

Regardless of what most here think, Laviano is much much better than Nova at this stage in his career. Nova had nothing close to this completion rate or YPG.
