And South Carolina, who just beat Miss State for the SEC tournament championship, lost to Indiana (albeit in November).
Creme says that Baylor's loss moves them off from being the second overall #1 seed but does not move them off the 1 seed line.

I would not want to play any of the 1 seeds but if RU is seeded 8 or 9, that is the position for the second round, assuming RU gets that far. Iowa State's victory is not a blueprint for beating Baylor by RU.

We will have to see what the PAC 12 championship game looks like - in a few hours - to get an idea of their #1 seed.
