Cal not only came in and showed he still can coach. He came to town, won with class, acted like it was no big deal, and then left town to move on with the rest of his life. It is sad there are only a few losers that are still butt hurt he left and cannot get over Cal moving on. Let it rest and focus on the Cats.
As far as Cal lovers, the UK fan base should love him. He did a lot for this program!

LOL.

Apparently, only Calipari lovers have the unrealistic expectations of winning at home against a 1-6 team.
Without a Point Guard.

With Big Z making more 3's than he EVER has

DJ Wagner making Step-Back-3's and throwing up crap from his hip and making it

Theiro driving and getting touch fouls

Richmond and Knox scoring in ways they NEVER have before last night

And our kids just not being able to make FT's for some reason

Throw all of that together and you have a game for Cal similar to the Bama game last season. Win when you have ZERO reason to, but do NOTHING else for the rest of the season.

No Thanks for more of Cal

Big Z hit 6 threes vs. Troy and is shooting 52.6 from three.

From one poster that supports his coach tooth and nail to another, you're going to wear yourself out trying to change others line of thinking to yours.

Anyone who cheered for Cal is ridiculous.

He showed his true colors last night. You can have Pitino saying, “Cheer, don’t boo!” Cal doesn’t tell his former players to celebrate UK. He’s smug and a narcissist. We paid him enough money to make his great great grandchildren wealthy. Never cheer him again. I hope he losses every game.

You don’t think any of that had to do with our defense? Nobody wants cal back, we just want pope to win

How can UK fans forget that right after he moved to Arkansas he was telling recruits that he was just moving HIS headquarters to Fayetteville and NOTHING will change???? It's Cal U!!!

NBA draft night is the BIGGEST day in HIS basketball program

"Players first" is what he's all about. Cal's teams "Play for the name on the BACK of the jersey NOT the FRONT".

Cal is about Cal!!!

Some, yes, but not all.

Butler being out really hurt. But those players did things last night that they hadn't all year long against CRAPPY teams.

That's Cal's MO. We've seen it happen here for years. Get his kids playing WAY above their heads for ONE game then right back down to earth.

Do you think this will propel the Hogs into a run that makes them a Top 20 team? I don't.

What did he do last night? He won a big game that he is getting paid to win. Not only will he be cheered but his name will be raised to rafters. There will be a night in the future that will be dedicated to him.

No I don’t, I think they’re still a crappy team. Which is why they shouldn’t have lost last night, we didn’t have butler against Tennessee either and beat them

And they shot 11-45 from 3!!!

This team HAS to NOT turn the ball over AND make MORE 3's than the opponent, we did neither last night and lost. Missing 9 FT's didn't help either.

It was a perfect storm for Cal and his JADED players.

I just hope Butler can return, because if he doesn't we are NOT going far in March.

You may win 6 conference games.

Easy sticking out that chest chief.

If you Cal haters hadn't run him off, this never would have happened. I hope you guys are happy.
Sucks we lost to him, but i wouldn’t trade our season or team for his. He’s on track to finish at or near the bottom of the SEC and zero chance at even playing in the NCAA tourney. They had a freakish game that won’t be duplicated the rest of the season. We will be dancing with a shot to go pretty far while they are on their couches.

I’m EXTREMELY happy we are where we are even with that fluke of a game.

This. Cal’s Arky will finish in the bottom of the SEC with South Carolina.

Be logical here: would Cal have won all of Duke, Gonzaga, Miss St, A&M, Florida, Tennessee? He would have lost most of them going off his last 5 seasons, maybe winning a couple in late January / early February.

They collectively played the best game of their lives.

They played with passion, on national television, with the sole purpose of showing out and making Cal look good.

It was their Super Bowl.

If they play with this kind of fire every game, they can make a deep run.

But I bet they come back down to earth.

But who knows? Cal may have gotten a little of his mojo back with that win.

Time will tell.

So how many years of not making a FF is acceptable? So how many years of getting beat in the tourney by a lower ranked team is acceptable? I take you live for draft night like Cal? So tell us how you two are related?
