Told you all about # 2! See you next year in Boulder. No tears
Exactly what did you tell us that we didn't already know?

Was it that Martinez was going to have an outstanding debut that compared very favorably to the first game of Heisman contender Milton McKenzie in the same offensive scheme? No, I think we suspected that although maybe not quite to the extent of just how impressive it was.

Or was it that the Buffs were going to try to intentionally injure him? Nah, I think we also fully expected that from Colorado although I doubt any Buffs will actually confess to it in public.

If NU is fortunate enough to win in Boulder next year, I guarantee you that Scott Frost will not shed tears of joy and describe the victory as a dream come true for a coach at Nebraska to come into Boulder and defeat the vaunted Buffaloes. Guaranteed, whether it's in 2019 or 2023.

Tell your coach no tears. He was crying like a little girl after the game. Colorado was totally outplayed by Nebraska. Turnovers and penalties were the equalizer. You should feel quite fortunate that your team won.

I 100% agreed there. We had almost 200 more total yards the Colorado Fluffs. Huskers beat themselves and Colorado took advantage enough to squeak out a win. If I was Colorado, seeing how the Huskers out played your guys team and sacked your QB 6-7 times and this is the Huskers HC and this staffs first year and first game...I’d be more then nervous about the next years game.

Maybe next year #44 for CU will grab and twist the ankles of the entire offense so they dont get blown out by a team that will be significantly better than the one that decided to hand them a W this year. 1 thing I'd like to say to CU's coach is you didn't beat NU. They beat themselves and you know it. Next year he will be crying for a very different reason. Gbr!

Next year #44 for CU will have a big "target" on his chest!

#2 for the Buffs was fantastic and easily the best WR on the field. He did everything for the Buffs and should be congratulated for his performance. The 2 game stretch he is on is an incredible way to start the season.

But the Buffs Mike LB was the player of the game. He had the INT, forced Bells fumble and was all over the field.

Shenault was ridiculous, and is a stud player. One of the best WR's in the country. He will play on Sunday's. I wish NU would have done a little more, but the kid may plays.

I thought that as well. In fact, I was impressed with CU's LB play all around. And I think this highlights what the loss of the Akron game meant. Living in CO, I watched the CU-CSU game and in that game the LB play for CU was nothing special. A lot of taking the wrong gaps, much of which was cleaned up for NU.
