The LSU and Louisville wins are the most memorable ones from that 2007 season.

But that win against the Hogs was big time.

On the road against a very good Arkansas team that had Darren McFadden and Felix Jones at RB.

If I remember right, the Hogs and the Cats were the only teams to beat eventual champ LSU that season.

Just watching the highlights of this game makes this current staff look even more incompetent, if that's possible.

The good ole days. Didn't realize how good we had it with that team!

And that is sad, isn't it?

I mean, I love that team. But we're talking about an 8-5 team that played in the Music City Bowl.

Such is Kentucky football.

Those teams always took on the personality of Brooks. They were tough, hard nosed, disciplined and almost always came out in the second half looking much better than they did in the first. His teams had a never say die attitude..almost the polar opposite of Stoopsy.

I remember at one of the spring games Marcus McClinton celebrated after scoring a touchdown and Brooks ripped his a** for about 5 minutes even though it was only a spring game. Fast forward to 2015 and we have Josh Forrest launching a football into the stands and Drew Barker doing the dougie after he scores a first quarter touchdown en route to blowing a multiple touchdown lead. No way that would've happened under Brooks. Can you imagine Stoops and Eliot over there on the sidelines trying to stop Darren McFadden and Felix Jones. My goodness, they would've racked up 700 yards rushing.
