We tried and the NCAA basically said if we did hang a title banner, it would reinstate the cloud over our head....
Just like the NCAA to be vindictive. What cloud would be over our head? More violations for hanging a banner in a arena?
Coaches across the country will tell recruits you don't want to go to Louisville because they hang a championship banner from the rafters of their arena?
Are the student athletes getting some kind of extra benefit for a banner being displayed? It's ridiculous! The only cloud would be our disdain for the NCAA and most should agree with that.
To UofL fans it's a symbol of what the wonderful year with a national championship team. To everyone else it's kinds humorous
A year of KP'S coaching is enough punishment for 10 years of violations. Hang the damn banner and sue their *** off is they try to retaliate..
