I did a trial run last night at 9pm and watched the women's freestyle matches. You can watch the matches free on http://olympic.org/nanjing-2014-youth-olympics. Cade Olivas of the U.S. will also be wrestling at 46kg. There are 11 entries at 46kg.

The website gives all of the athletes DOB. I am not going to post Daton's DOB for privacy reasons but he is the youngest of the 9 competitors at his weight. All of the competitors have to be less than 18. Daton is 16 and a half.

Olivas will wrestle Gadzhiev of Russia in the Gold Medal match. Still trying to determine who Fix will wrestle in the Gold medal match. Gadzhieve has looked very good in his matches so he will be a tough opponent for Olivas.

Two close fought matches but the U.S. ends up with silver at both weights. Cade Olivas dec. y Gadzhiev of Russia 3-1 and Daton Fix loses 7-5 to Mukhambet Kuatbek of Kazikistan.

In the fix match the opponent was head 6-0 after 1 period on the basis of two pushouts and a four point throw. Fix came back with two takedowns and an exposure to make the match 6-5 with about 30 seconds left. The opponent held on and got another pushout for a 7-5 win. The opponent's strategy was to tie up Fix's hands and Fix was unable for the most part to get past the hands for his takedown moves.
