They should be the favorite but I'm sure west caldwell and maiden should challenge for the top spot

West Caldwell has improved quite a bit under English. 7 wins in 2015 which was their best season since 2002 win wise.
What do they have coming back in 2016?

Pretty much everybody - its easier to say who did they lose: our main running back, Trustin Harper. He will be a big loss but this is a position where we have good options, two rising Jrs should fill in nicely (Taye Dula and Jeremy Boyce). We lose a guard who played both ways and a tackle. We lose a slot receiver/Safety and our Kicker. Coach English has developed good depth in the program and capable replacements are in place at each position. Look for rising Sophs OT Isiah Helms and DT Jaylin Richardson to burst on to the regional recruiting stage. Both already have good size and a frame to add muscle. A couple of key players who were hampered for much of last season by injuries, QB/CB Titus Tucker and Slot/CB Elijah Brooks, will be among the best in the conference if healthy for the whole season.

Wow, so should we be looking out for West Caldwell? English has proved to be a fantastic hire for the Warriors! Glad to see them winning again.

Does Sage move to QB? If not, who do they have? The JV QB was a very good runner but not even an average passing QB.

The qb i seen against Monroe has STAR written all over him. He made alot of plays against to me, the best defense in all of 2a. He will light up sd7 much like Chazz did. I believe he's only a freshman?? East Lincoln will run this conference until it ends

How many plays can one make in a 46-6 loss?

Was you at the game? I was. Any EL fan will tell you the oline played scared to def but ALL receivers were SHOOK. I counted 8 passes dropped not contested. Monroe was the better team but EL qb was special regardless of the outcome. I would love yo have him at Statesville for 3 years

The next QB is very good. He is another talented kid in a long line of East Lincoln QBs. Monroe had a once in a lifetime super team.

Post Chazz Surratt will be a little different but Coach Byus will continue to turn out another conference challenger. Lincolnton will also compete for the title. Lincolnton graduates a lot but has a lot of talent returning as well. Maiden will be the same as the previous two years with three players all of the offense. Defensively Maiden should be slightly better.

West Caldwell should do well next year. Those four teams are still in the top tier.

I've seen it on film, he looked good but he is only a freshman I see room for growth and improvement. East Lincoln will win this conference next year but I don't think they'll dominate like they did this past season.
How is Lincolnton looking? And Maiden too

I agree. Guess I'm just judging this dude's potential. I think he's going to be a star. I think the race for 2nd place will be interesting. WC, Lincolnton, Maiden, NC will be interesting

West Caldwell by the description above may very well finish second. They could shock some people.
