With 1 month to go till the start of football here is my "unbiased" predictions for the new conference this year preseaon addition
1. East Duplin- 2016 record-13-2 returning 9 starters off a defense that pitch 7 shutouts....dont think they lost much on offense either
2. Wallace Rose-Hill- 2016 record-15-1 first year back in 2A won 3 state championships in a row they return probably the best player in the conference in LB/RB Javonte Williams....new coach could be growning pains but still feel this is going to be a tough team to beat
3. Clinton- 2016 record-13-1 a reporter from the other site says he spoke with Bob Lewis and he stated it would be a "rebuilding" year with alot of young players filling holes left by seniors...JV team lost 1 game last time we were reloaded with young talent 2014 and the team went to State.....still alot of question marks coupled with a tough non conference schedule.....still unknown if ATH Kris Williams #2 is going to play and a kid I believed would be a key contributor for us on defense and maybe offense may have transferred to Harrells Christian im not 100% sure....with all that being said still think this will be a good team not as good as last year obviously but who knows could surprise people.....worse case scenario 6-4
4. James Kenan-2016 record 4-7 dealing with a new coach aswell had alot of injuries last year which contributed to some of those loses....too much talent in that Warsaw area to be down for too long
5. Midway- 2016 record 5-5 not to much to say on our cross county rivals i see them as middle of the road possibly doing just enough to stay out the basement
6. Goldsboro- 2016 record 1-10 Dont know much about them i thought they were usually a playff team until i looked up there records the last couple years have not had a winning season since 2012 but JV team only loss two games last year so hopefully young talent can help ge them out the basement
7. Spring Creek- 2016 record 3-9 like Goldsboro dont know much about them so basically going off record and what they have coming up
