So do you get another cool green jacket like the grooms at the Keeneland Sales wear every time you win the Masters or is everybody content with just one?

i wonder if lebron got a new MVP trophy every time or they just had him bring the first one each time? Wow that's really made me question things

It just seemed like destiny for Sergio this year the way he escaped disaster on the par 5 thirteenth both Saturday and Sunday!

Great tournament. Really liked the sportsmanship shown by all the competitors. You don't see a lot of whiny, sour grape, bitching in golf.

Very cool moment when Kuchar gave that kid his ball after the ace.

I was thinking about this as well. It's great that there are some sports (few) that still exist that the outcome is or at least mostly determined solely by the player/team without being dominated by highly questionable influence from officials or judges.

Love Sergio or hate him, no one can deny the fact that he gutted that one out and was well deserving of winning his first major. It was fun to watch.

Anyone else think the Butler Cabin ceremony is lame? I much prefer them to show the public ceremony on the green rather than the private ceremony. I know you can watch it elsewhere, but the Butler cabin thing is just boring.

Now to see if this propels Sergio to more Major titles as it did Phil.

He's going to have to learn how to putt first. It was interesting how he said he's fought Augusta and the last 3-4 years he's learned to give and take what the course gives him which helped him get over the hump.

Anyone else think Rose threw the title to Garcia by missing makeable putts & finally just hitting a god awful tee shot?

Well he has 31 world wide wins and an awesome record at the Ryder Cup, so while he may not be Tiger at his prime on the greens, or even Speith, he obviously is pretty damn good at the short game.

Any more meaningless stats that have nothing to do Sergio's putting ability?

Do you think Rose threw the Masters to let Sergio get a major :joy: Mercy.

That's significantly dumber than Tim Sullivan's, "do you think Rose would trade his Gold Medal for a Green Jacket?" Uh... yeah, Tim, it'd be close but I think Justin just might make that deal. Dumbass.

Remember when Tom Watson threw The Open Championship so Cink could get the Claret Jug?

Anybody who thinks that is a GD idiot.
Why? Golf is so easy to fix. Who's to know why you jerked a putt 2-3"? Rose had just got done hitting a great drive on same hole & then he does that when these guys are supposedly so great. Many wanted SG to win - great for CBS. Wouldn't be hard to pay Rose utt. Just hard to believe golf is legit.

This reads like you took a self study sarcasm class at a cheap, public, liberal arts college.

Very surprising

Quick question: Is the earth round, or flat?

This has to be one of the dumbest things I've read on here. Yeah, he threw the round so Sergio could win instead of immortalizing himself as the only Euro to win the Masters and the US Open. And don't forget about the millions of dollars and lifetime Masters invite. Yup, that's what he did, he threw away a green jacket. It's only the most prestigious award in all of golf.

So your take that Rose threw the Masters is based on he blocked his drive in the playoff and some people wanted Sergio to win?

Why? The two popular American golfers were out of it after 2 holes. No Bubba, Phil, Tiger, Rory. Ricky, DJ, Day or Spieth, etc. The big name draws were all out of it. Also 3/4 of the round was pretty boring.

Have to admit that not many people look good in green. Plus it's difficult to coordinate with. Do you get custom green pants to match or just go with brown or black? And do you ever get to wear it when you go out or can you only wear it at Augusta?
