2017 Total Solar Eclipse in the U.S.

Just saw that the path of totality will be running through eastern Idaho close to where I live. I'm heading to Idaho Falls or Rexburg on Aug 21st for the best view in my area.

People living in western KY will be close as well. Going to be fun!

I think people from around the country and world are coming to Hopkinsville and WKY in general because that is where the eclipse will last the longest.

There are big events planned here in Idaho too. Hotels in the path are booked.

Ozzy is having a big concert in Southern Illinois to coincide with the eclipse.

I'll be in Calvert City, looks like We'll get about 2.5 minutes.

We're thinking about walking up to Clingman's Dome to watch.

Fine. But did Idaho get pointed out as the best place to view the eclipse by national media? Western Kentucky did.
