Thing is that I worry that Heywood has inside information. And I don’t think it’s good information.

There are a number of reasons why Nance should lead in minutes.

1) He can play the 4 or 5 spot
2) He is the most unique player NU has, and the one with the highest ceiling (All Big Ten first team and possibly the NBA)
3) He wasn’t able to redshirt last year despite getting mono and needs to get lots of minutes to catch up
4) As a catch-all, this is a year for development and Nance needs to be a solid Big Ten player for NU to get back to the dance in the next two to three years

Huh? He is on scholarship, thus he is a scholarship player. Either you are or you're not. I am certain that there are a number of teams who would have been happy to put him on scholarship as well.

Hint: just because I stated that a player could be awarded a scholarship doesn't mean I am making a statement about the quality of said player...

How many of those are in the B1G?

I’ll admit that I’m curious. It’s like Hachad or Capoci, freak athletes that could be lightening in a bottle, but more likely a good game or too and a few highlight reel things.

I am certain there was interest from other teams in the BIG (Illinois and Nebby in particular are short schollies and took players late with far less credentials than Spencer) though with grad transfers there is not a formal offer process so this is difficult to track...

We filled two of those schollies right after your prediction. I still believe that, with players continuing to enter the portal most every day (Illinois just had a player transfer out today), we will fill another schollie...

Funny, the stuff I believe in generally cones true. Like my beliefs that resulted in certain individuals losing their screennsmes...

But hey, keep doubting me, it's entertaining!

He is not NJ...I mean Fitzphile. But he should have been, and I play this little thing called the percentahes...

Let me know when I've been wrong sbput something important involving OUR teams, though. Going to guess you won't find a ton of examples.

And fhe team Ayo stayed for is showing more cracks in the armor, with two transfers out since May alone, offerung a schollie to a player sight unseen, and having two players who can't practice because the are STILLl not officially cleared to play...yup, Ayo sure looks like he made the right decision to set those millions on fire!
